Bob Swadkins, Owner of Golden Heart Senior Care of Summerlin, presented to the residents of Sienna on November 30, 2022. He discussed the benefits of home care for seniors and of Golden Brook Residential Care Home which cares for residents who have Alzheimer’s and/or dementia. Fun was had by all!

Employee of the Month – October 2022
Golden Heart Senior Care is proud to announce that Julie R. has been awarded Employee of the Month for Golden Heart for the month of October 2022.
Julie is from the Philippines and came to the USA in 1977, she is married with one son and really enjoys her family. Julie is a former group home owner in California from 1992 – 2001 and decided to sell it and move to Las Vegas. Living in Las Vegas, Julie knew she wanted to help seniors like she did in California as helping the elderly is her passion.

Please join us in welcoming Kayla A. as Golden Heart’s September 2022 Employee of the Month.
Kayla is an AMAZING caregiver and a pleasure to work with. She always greets you with a big smile when you meet her.
Kayla is from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is married to a wonderful man named John. She also has a beautiful daughter.
She began her caregiver career more than 10 years ago, started in a nursing home working with seniors. Kayla enjoys being a caregiver because it’s very rewarding to to make a difference in the life of her clients.

Employee of the Month – Anita B.
Please join us in congratulating Anita B. as Golden Heart’s Employee of the Month for August 2022. Anita is from Myanmar Burma and is married with one daughter and one grandson. Anita has been a caregiver for more than three years. She enjoys being a caregiver because it brings her joy to be able to help seniors and she is blessed to be able to work with such wonderful people.

Golden Heart Senior Care is proud to announce that Thanalaxmi J. is our employee of the month for July 2022.
Thanalaxmi is from Malaysia. She is married and has two wonderful boys. She enjoys being a caregiver because she loves hearing stories from her clients past and where people grew up and different adventures people have been on. Thanalaxmi always has a smile on her face and joy in her heart.

Employee of the Month – June 2022
Golden Heart Senior Care is proud to announce that Cynthia F. is our Employee of the Month for June 2022.
Cynthia is from Birmingham, Alabama, she is married with three children, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Cynthia has been a caregiver ever since age of 17. She enjoys her job because of all the wonderful people she gets to care for and the families she gets to meet.

May 2022 Employee of the Month
Golden Heart Senior Care is proud to announce that Roxana M. is our May 2022 Employee of the Month.
Roxana is originally from El Salvador and is married with two boys. Roxana has been a caregiver for two years with experience as a CNA. She enjoys working and helping people who can’t help themselves. She puts herself in their shoes and tries to understand what they are going through and how they are feeling.
Roxana is looking forward to returning to school sometime in the future and continue her education in the medical field.

April 2022 Employee of the Month
Golden Heart Senior Care is proud to announce that Michele N. has been selected our April 2022 Employee of the Month. Michele is originally from Stockton, California and has a beautiful daughter who will be 28 years old this year.
Michele has worked in the medical/home care field for more than 30 years. She started out as a Home Health aide and Nursing Assistant then became an administrator of a home health company. She has also been a medical technician and has a background in clinical and forensic pathology.
Michele enjoys being a caregiver because there are many people who don’t have family or friends that she can help. She loves to see people happy and doing well.

January 2022 Employee of the Month
Golden Heart Senior Care is proud to announce that Phyllis R. has been awarded the January 2022 Employee of the Month. Phyllis has been part of the Golden Heart Team for one year, and has been a caregiver for 26 years. She is from Los Angeles, California and has lived in Las Vegas for about six years. She has worked in group homes in California for 22 years, worked with hospice, and clients with behavioral needs. She is a big proponent of keeping her clients in their homes because that is where they are the happiest.

Community Event Participation
Golden Heart Senior Care is proud to participate in the following community events:
March 24th – Red Rock Pointe Health Fair / The Musical “Love Story”.
April 14th – We were invite to Red Rock Pointe Retirement Community for “Snack and Facts”
April 15th – Destinations Alexander 55+ Apartments invited us to participate in their breakfast Easter Egg Hunt.
April 20th – Country Club at Valley View Senior Community is where we played BINGO and had a great time.
